A warm welcome at Gayton House

Gayton House recently opened its doors for a special housewarming afternoon, welcoming future residents, friends, families and members of the local community to explore the apartments and celebrate this new chapter for Lilyford in Yateley.

The event was a chance to experience Gayton House as it was always intended to feel: welcoming, sociable and full of life.

Seeing Gayton House come to life

Guests were invited to look around the show apartments, meet the Lilyford team and enjoy the building at their own pace. Conversations flowed over drinks and canapés as visitors explored the interiors, viewed the quality of the finishes and discovered more about life at Gayton House.

We were also delighted to welcome Newlands Primary School Choir, whose performance brought a wonderful energy to the afternoon. Later in the day, Maurice’s daughter Molly played the saxophone as guests continued to mingle and explore.

One of the most enjoyable parts of the event was seeing the apartments filled with people. Guests gathered in the living spaces, looked out across the surrounding area and imagined what day-to-day life at Gayton House might feel like.

Families explored together, neighbours met one another and the Lilyford team had the opportunity to speak with many people from Yateley and the wider local community.

A home designed for independent living

Gayton House has been designed for people who want to enjoy a more manageable home without giving up their independence, sense of style or connection to the community.

The housewarming gave visitors an opportunity to experience that for themselves and to see how the building feels when it is full of conversation, music and activity.

You are warmly invited to come back for a quieter, more personal look around. A private viewing gives you the opportunity to explore the apartments at your own pace, ask questions and consider which home might suit you best.

The show apartments are open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. Private appointments are also available.
